What is Win?
Win is a fully hosted, completely managed platform for creating and maintaining your campaign online. Our flexible and unique WordPress themes can power races of all sizes. We give you the tools to take full control of your content so that you can connect with your supporters ten times faster.
How does the purchase work?
You choose your subscription plan and the additional services you want and add them to your shopping cart. Checkout and pay via Credit Card or via PayPal. You’ll then be directed to a form where we will ask for more information. Your site will automatically be set up. If you purchased additional services, a member of our team will be in touch with you to begin moving forward with your project.
When is payment required?
Payment for your website is due up front. Subscription plans will be charged on a monthly basis.
Your email system set up is due up front and then you pay per email sent.
Who created Win?
Win is a joint-venture between Northbound Design and Donehue Direct.
Do you sell sites to Republicans, Democrats, third parties or independents?
Win is completely nonpartisan. Our services are available to any candidate or organization that is trying to make our nation a better place to live. We believe Democracy grows when we share ideas and work together.
What is WordPress?
WordPress is our favorite Content Management System and blogging platform. We’ve been using it for years for campaigns from city council to US Senate. We love their infrastructure and their persistence in keeping the application updated with new tools. Learn more about WordPress at www.wordpress.com.
Who can benefit from Win?
Win is set up to give political candidates and non-profit organizations and low cost and quick way to launch a successful online campaign. We also are setup to help any activist group who would like an online presence. So basically, anyone.
How much does Win Cost?
We have two subscription packages that cost $25 and $75 per month. We have a la carte services that are listed here.
Why are there two different subscription plans?
Some folks have a good bit of experience with website maintenance. Some have none at all. We’ve set up two different levels to cater to your different needs. If you don’t know anything at all about websites or don’t have time to fool with it, but you know you need one, we suggest you purchase the Premium Plan and consider the design and content package.
How are you able to provide websites that are so inexpensive?
It’s simple, really. We don’t have to build from scratch. The foundation is provided by WordPress and then we build the house upon it with reusable and customizable templates.
Can you help me create a donation form?
Yes. We can help you set up an online fundraising account on Piryx. Our system charges a fee of 5.5% per donation.
Can I use a different donation system?
Yes, we can link your website to any outside URL, including a different donation system. However, if you want our help, you have to use Piryx.
Does your system have an email component?
Yes it does. We can set up your site so that all forms dump directly into our email system. Our emails cost $10 per blast + $0.02 per recipient. Your credit card or paypal account will be automatically billed.
Do I have to use your email system?
Of course not, although we recommend it because our forms connect to our email system. That means anyone who signs up on your website will automatically be dumped into the email system.
What if I want additional customization?
We offer a Graphic Design Package t in our a la carte section. We can also help you with further design and development at a rate of $150 per hour. Please email info@winwithwp.com and we will be back with you in no time.
Can you help me with strategic advice or help me set up my social networks?
Heck yeah! We have run some of the most successful online campaigns in the country. We can consult, run your email campaigns and set up and even run your social networks. All of this is addressed in our Interactive Maintenance plans.
Will you help me write content for my new site?
Yes, we have a team of amazing writers. That service is included in our Interactive Maintenance plans.
I’m trying to set up my theme by myself and I’m having trouble. Can you help?
If you only purchased one of our subscription plans, you’ve opted to do part of the setup yourself. We have created an easy to use form here to help you along the way. If you don’t see an answer to your question, please submit a new question and we will get back to you ASAP. Depending on what problems you are having will determine which service in our a la carte section will apply. In other words, if you opt for the cheaper package and decide you can’t do it yourself after all, we can jump in and help at an additional cost.
Can you match my website to my campaign colors and logo?
Yes we can. That comes included in the Graphic Design package.
I have already purchased my domain name. Can I just download your system onto my own server?
We are sorry, but you cannot. We host our websites on our own servers. That’s one way we are able to keep costs down. If you have already purchased your domain, we will help you point your nameservers to your new website.
What is “set up of your custom content?”
The subscription plans come with the demo content that will give you directions on how to set up your site. With the custom content package, we will work with you to set up the content you want on your site.
Is there a contract?
Simply put: no. We understand that campaigns run on non-traditional schedules. We charge you for your subscription plan at the beginning of every month. You can cancel hosting anytime before the first day of each month. However, we do provide discounts for paying for 12 to 24 months up front.
I see that you keep putting out new themes. I like a new theme better than the one I have. How much will you charge me to upgrade?
You may switch your theme at any time. If you require our assistance in formatting your content after the fact, we’d be more than happy to help for a fee of $250.
Do you offer email accounts to match my domain?
Yes we do. You get up to 20 emails with each domain.
Can you create my site today?
Yes! With a Win subscription your site is launched immediately. You can begin working on it as soon as we receive payment. If you choose one of our other services, such as a Graphic Design Package we will be in contact with you to get details and started on those projects.
